Jesika von Rabbit, the prolific and versatile former front-woman of Joshua Tree’s long-time hi-desert trailblazers Gram Rabbit has released two solo albums, Journey Mitchell and Dessert Rock, and a number of singles since the group’s demise. Her music infuses a unique mix of electro, new-wave, psychedelic, rock, and funk, and her live shows deliver sonic thunder with a dose of Wonka-esque eye candy. Jesika has performed at the Desert Daze, Campout, and Stoned and Dusted festivals, as well as San Francisco, Portland, and Palm Springs Pride. She has shared stages with a diverse roster of acts including Wanda Jackson, Eagles of Death Metal, Cat Power, and Crystal Method. Dubbed The Queen of the Hi-Desert, Jesika has a menu item named after her, the delicious “Nachos von Rabbit”, at the world-renown Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA.

In the two weeks since the release of her first fresh dance track of 2021, “Bombay Beach Bunny”, the video’s YouTube numbers have hit well over 20K with gushing compliments all over social media!

She is drop-dead gorgeous and has an absolutely incredible voice. But von Rabbit is more than a pretty chick singer. She is an innovative creator and expressionist as well as one hell of an entertainer… Her show is brilliantly nonsensical; a sonic and visual spectacle that is unlike any other and you cannot take your eyes away. She is an artist that you just have to keep coming back to see because you evolve every time you do.Coachella Valley Weekly
