Formerly the frontwoman and chief songwriter of the iconic Joshua Tree band Gram Rabbit, Jesika von Rabbit has released three solo albums— her latest Bunnywood Babylon, along with Desert Rock, and Journey Mitchell—plus a bevy of singles and visually arresting videos that blend electronica, psychedelic rock, and a hint of Hi-Desert Americana. Her dynamic stage show features her long-time live and recording bassist/guitarist, Tucson, AZ-born and raised Lee Joseph, and the Grundles, her Wonka-esque dancers with whimsical costumes and Vaudevillian skits. von Rabbit’s newest single is a haunting version of REM’s “Drive,” which will be available on all streaming platforms, Friday April 17.
